St. Peter’s Episcopal Church The Mission of St. Peter’s is to be a community of: Worship: Gathering for worship is the central act of our community where we come for learning and for being fed in the Eucharistic meal. We have a worship team consisting of volunteer clergy, Eucharistic Ministers, Eucharistic Visitors, and worship leaders. Service: Service is key to our understanding of being a Church. Most of our members are involved in service organizations in our community. Each month we donate from our budget to local needs. We also give away 10% of our fundraising money to various organizations in the community. We give to the food pantry and help support our local homeless shelter. Learning: We offer Christian education opportunities such as Sunday School, weekly Bible Study , Men’s prayer breakfast, and a “book club.” We believe that studying is key to Christian formation and spiritual growth. We offer continuing education for our Leaders in Ministry. We also participate in ecumenical learning activities. We offer youth activities as well. Hospitality: We are a welcoming community and seek to practice the ministry of hospitality towards one another and others in our community. We worship Each Sunday We are a small church with a BIG HEART. The Rev. Canon Marianne Ell is assisted by The Rev. Joan Peterson, and The Rev. Randy Keehn, locally trained clergy and a strong ministry of the baptized.
