The Mission of Christ Church is to seek and serve Christ in all persons.

Christ Church is a community gathered in the name of Jesus Christ to welcome all who seek a deeper relationship with God. We celebrate diversity in culture, tradition, ethnicity and experience. We are an Episcopal Church in the broad church tradition, serving the inner ring suburbs of Cleveland. Worship, education, hospitality and outreach are the foci of our life together. Quality liturgy and preaching are important attributes of our service to God. Newcomers are welcomed into the life of the parish and the fellowship we celebrate.

We are pleased to offer The Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, and The Journey to Adulthood assisting in the formation of our youth. The new Labyrinth constructed this year is provided for those who seek a contemplative experience of God.

The Interfaith Hospitality Network resides at Christ Church and serves as this ministries’ day center and Eastside office.

For over fifty years Christ Church has welcomed Alcoholics Anonymous, the Reverend Maxwell Dowell, having brought it to the Cleveland area.

In all things we strive to seek Christ in the face of both friend and stranger and to welcome all into the household of God. It is our prayer that we may stand ready to be opened to recognize when we have beheld none other than the house of God and the gate of heaven.
