  Lenn Harris Milam

The Rev. Lenn Harris Milam
Counselor, Samaritan Counseling Center of the Mid-South
Memphis, Tennessee

The Reverend Lenn Harris Milam joined the Samaritan Counseling Centers' staff as a full-time counselor in December 1995. A native Memphian, Lenn received her Master of Divinity degree from Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, DC and was ordained as an elder in the Memphis Conference of the United Methodist Church in 1979. She has served as Associate Director of the Wesley Foundation at the University of Memphis, pastored Prospect United Methodist Church, and completed Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) residencies at Methodist Hospitals in Memphis and Parkland Hospital in Dallas, TX. Lenn completed a two year clinical residency at the Pastoral Counseling and Education Center in Dallas and served as a senior staff therapist there for six years. She is a Clinical member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists and a Fellow in the American Association of Pastoral Counselors.

Lenn currently serves as pastoral counselor and site coordinator for the Idlewild Samaritan Counseling Center, 35 South Auburndale. Her areas of specific therapeutic interest and expertise include relationship, life transition, marriage and grief counseling.
